There are important updates to the SGIP rebate program coming.

The good news is SGIP AB 209 incentive budgets are open for submissions and will remain so.

However, CPUC Decision 25-12-003 impacts the SGIP Rebate Program significatnly on December 31, 2025. SGIP ratepayer incentive budgets are closing for new ratepayer application submissions including applications being submitted for the waitlist in the following budget categories:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

             Large-Scale Storage<\/p>\n\n\n\n

             Small Residential Storage<\/p>\n\n\n\n

             Residential Solar and Storage Equity \u2013 Ratepayer<\/p>\n\n\n\n

             Non-Residential Storage Equity<\/p>\n\n\n\n

             Equity Resiliency<\/p>\n\n\n\n

             Generation<\/p>\n\n\n

December 20, 2025 is the last day to press the \u201csubmit\u201d button for the incentive budgets listed above.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ratepayer funding allocations discontinues after 2025. Applications in a \u201cWaitlist\u201d status on December 31, 2025 face cancellation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
