Clairemont, or Clairemont Mesa, is a family friendly community nestled in a good location for access to all of San Diego. It is bordered by state route 52 on the north, the I-805 on the east, the I-5 on the west, and Linda Vista in the south. It was one of the country’s first suburbs and offers scenic views of the Pacific Ocean as well as many recreational opportunities. People can enjoy the canyons and parks for outdoor recreation, and there are also other entertainment and shopping centers. There is great diversity among residents, and there are many schools ranging from elementary to college level. <\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

Many of the homes in Clairemont are older in established neighborhoods, with the majority of homes being built before 1970. Closer to the bay, homes are about 50% likely to be rental properties and single-person or non-family style homes. Up the hill, the homes tend to be owned (and mortgaged) by older married couples and are mostly single-family residents.
