As a dedicated researcher of renewable energy and Plug-In Vehicles, Charlie's software engineering and database management includes authoring the California Solar Initiative solar hot water rebate website, a $500K team grant award for energy efficiency education, an e-commerce IPO, a $1 Billion UCSD giving campaign, and "The President's Club" in sales. Charlie is a former elected San Diego Renewable Energy Society Board Member and a Sun Edison/ESW@UCSD grant writer awardee for his mobile, off-grid, solar powered, electric vehicle & personal electronics charging station serving UCSD's community.

As a NABCEP Certified PV Installer and NABCEP Certified Instructor, Sam has trained a community of over 300 licensed contractors, project developers, business owners and home owners how to install solar photovoltaic and battery systems; many earning NABCEP accreditation, the highest standard of certification in the solar industry, at his classes at Mira Costa College and Cuyamaca College. Sam teaches the same values in the classroom that Green Energy EPC upholds outside of the classroom; "Ethical Sales, Quality Installation, and Integrity".

Laurence Crispin, who worked side by side with Sam from 2015 - 2023, is the Chief Electrician and co- owner at Green Energy EPC by Makello. Sam mentored Laurence to take his place. The depth of knowledge and work ethic is incredible, with Laurence having installed over 500 solar and battery systems in California. Laurence is the Technical Lead for site survey and system design, and is also the installation site manager. Laurence has personally trained all Green Energy EPC by Makello installation employees to use the proper safety equipment and installation techniques for the highest quality installation.
